Wie die Entwickler von Rockstar Games angekündigt haben, wird eine weitere Heist-Mission für GTA Online erscheinen. Diese trägt den Titel The Cayo Perico Heist und wird erstmalig einen komplett neuen Schauplatz in Los Santos einführen! Dazu kommt ein neuer Radiosender mit rund 100 neuen Tracks sowie natürlich auch neue Waffen und Fahrzeuge. Bis zu vier Spieler müssen sich in der Mission Zugang zu einem stark abgesicherten Anwesen auf einer Insel verschaffen, welches dem berüchtigtsten Drogendealers der Welt gehört! Dementsprechend umfangreich sind die dort stationierten und schwerbewaffneten Sicherheitskräfte:

Geplant ist der Release von The Cayo Perico Heist ab dem 15.12.2020, als besonderes Highlight dient den Spielern ein schwerbewaffnetes U-Boot als Hauptquartier für die Mission. Analog der bisherigen Erweiterungen für GTA Online dürfte auch dieses Content-Update wieder kostenfrei sein - ausgenommen natürlich die GTA-Dollar, die man voraussichtlich inGame investieren werden muss.
